|When I first started plumbing at the age of 14 my main duties were working on central heating systems in domestic properties for social housing and private customers. This was mainly assisting qualified engineers fittings boilers, doing central heating systems and also fitting industrial boilers.
I went from this to working for a very large construction company on commercial sites working on new build flats, hospitals and hotels. The main duties here were 1st fixing and 2nd fixing flats, working in plant rooms, and working on soil stacks.
When I became fully self-employed I started working for major social housing contractors as a subcontractor mainly doing wet plumbing, fitting bathrooms and wet rooms. I have also worked for retail stores installing customer’s washing machines so I have worked across a vast number of areas in the plumbing and heating sector.
